Data Mining and Science

This course provides a concise introduction to data science, an interdisciplinary field that uses scientific methods, processes, algorithms and systems to extract knowledge and insights from noisy, structured and unstructured data and apply knowledge from data to a wide range of application domains.
The course is accompanied by hands-on problem solving with Python programming and aims at familiarity with data set analysis techniques/algorithms and software tools in the field of knowledge mining, machine learning and deep learning, and preparation for participating in data challenges.
